In Mario's side special, he takes out his cape from Super Mario World and does a swift movement, causing the cape to fly in front of him. The cape deals 6-7% damage and pushes the opponent away, whilst turning them around. This can also be used to make an opponent go the wrong way whilst using a move like Little Mac's Jolt Haymaker, thus allowing a punish. Mario additionally stalls if this is used in the air, which can potentially benefit his recovery. | In Mario's side special, he takes out his cape from Super Mario World and does a swift movement, causing the cape to fly in front of him.
