Shy Guys (Japanese: ヘイホー, Heihoo) are found in the Yoshi's Story stage of Super Smash Bros. Melee. They can also be found on a stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Shy guy appears as both an enemy and a trophy in Melee. The Shy Guys appear as an enemy on the Yoshi's Story stage. When a character attacks them they will continue floating or get hit off the screen. If items are turned on they will carry food items to the stage. They will drop the food if they are attacked. For every Shy Guy a character KO, they will be awarded 20 points to their Shy Guy KO bonus.

Shy Guys have been confirmed to make a return in Brawl. They can be seen driving Go Karts also appear as Mute City-style hazards in Mario Circuit and Fly Guys can be seen flying in Yoshi's Island.
