Lightweight (軽量化, Lighten) is one of Palutena's alternate down special moves in Super Smash Bros. 4.
Overview
When Palutena uses this move, she increases her movement speed and jumping abilities temporarily. However, during that time, Palutena will take more damage (knockback remains the same). The effects of this move last 15 seconds. When it ends, her normal ground and air movement speed are halved for 5 seconds. Palutena must then wait an additional cool down time of 10 seconds before the move can be used again.

Origin
Lightweight is a stat-based power that Pit or a fighter can wield in Kid Icarus: Uprising. This power increases speed and prevents tiring out, but defenses are reduced. The defense-lowering aspect of this power carries over in the form of the added damage Palutena takes from attacks.
