- Gamestop stores in the U.S. are having a midnight release of Brawl.
- The Super Smash Bros. Wiki has merged with SmashWiki! We now have over three thousand articles to boast of, and with a larger community, it will be easier to collaborate on projects! See SmashWiki:Merge for more information.
- The Super Smash Bros. Wiki has reached 600 articles with the creation of PK Freeze by Shroobario.
- The full Brawl OST has been ripped and the total total number of songs comes up to 314 songs. They are all available for download via torrent.
- Brawl was released in Japan on January 31st.
