Board the Platforms was a mode in the original Smash Bros. game that was similar to Break the Targets. Unfortunately the mode was abandoned in Melee. In this mode the combatant would manevuer through a series of obstacles in order to jump on all ten platforms. Each character had their own unique obstacle course to maneveur. The platforms themselves were yellow with a red blinking light in the center until stepped on, then the light would blink blue. Stage 8 of One Player Mode was Board the Platforms.
