- At Smash of Ages 2015, the first West Coast Smash 64 national since Genesis 2, SuPeRbOoMfAn, Tacos, and Mariguas take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U singles, respectively, and SuperBoomFan & JaimeHR win doubles.

- Lucas's release date as downloadable content is confirmed to be June 14th, 2015. The Miiverse stage for Wii U and Splatoon costumes for Mii Fighters will be included in the same update.

- At Get On My Level 2015, Hungrybox, Hax, and KirbyKaze respectively take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in Melee singles, and Holy, Poke, and Blacktwins respectively take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U singles. Hungrybox & Hax and Nakat & Holy win Melee and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U doubles, respectively.
