KoRoBeNiKi is a smasher from Northern New Jersey. He is mostly known for being one of the more active original Super Smash Bros. players as well as one of the founding Back Room members. He is also well known for being one of the better Keyboard players in 64 and for his contributions to 64 on Reddit and SmashWiki. He is also known for terrible puns as well in the 64 community, both on smashboards and offline.

Early Period, 2005-2007
He started off as a Melee player, finding competitive play and joining Smashboards under a former account known as wavedasher in 2005. His first major event was The Smash Affiliates's Smashtality back in 2006. He started off as a Luigi main with Roy as a secondary. At Smashtality 2 in October 2006, he met Sensei and Isai and got 5 stocked by both of them and learned of the more competitive 64 scene. He kept on going with the melee scene but due to TSA's venue being moved to New York after Smashtality III in 2007, he was no longer attending events.
Early Online Play
He discovered online Smash 64 in 2007 along with another fellow smasher, MattNF. Due in part to being a good friend of the latter, who was a member of PPS, he was allowed in the crew by SuPeRbOoMfAn. Prior to this, he was a member of iXi, maining a lackluster DK with a generic Falcon secondary originally under the tag METAL DK. He eventually switched to Yoshi after entering and winning a Yoshi ditto tournament hosted by Stoned iXi and finding it very enjoyable.
2012-Present
Smash 64
In Smash 64, he uses Yoshi and Captain Falcon as mains, as well as Pikachu occasionally for teams/counterpicks. He is one of the primary keyboard players in online play, although primarily as a matter of circumstance.
After Apex 2015, he kick-started a new tier discussion thread which resulted in a voting topic ran by him and Pidgezero one. This eventually resulted in the current tier list seen today.
Melee
KoRo got back into Melee around Apex 2012 and attended smaller events. He started to attend more events but until Hectohertz's weeklies, he was semi-inactive. He mains Luigi and Ganon in Melee now and welcomes the 20XX movement.
Brawl
When he played Brawl he mained Luigi and Mr. Game and Watch. At his highest peak, he was in the top 150 on the AllisBrawl wifi ladder. However, he does not play Brawl very much due to his dislike of the dominance of Meta Knight and King Dedede matchups. He also entered Brawl in Apex 2013 by Alex Strife for free, though he quickly lost to DEHF and the Brazilian Diddy King Banze after getting a bye due to someone not showing up.
Project M and other Smash Games
In Project M he mains Luigi, Game and Watch, Charizard, and Yoshi in Project M.
In Brawl- he mained Luigi and Ganondorf, but only participated in 1 tournament, losing to Nairo's Pikachu after winning a few rounds. He called the game fun but found the community too inactive.
In Brawl + he mained Luigi but rarely played, citing a dislike for the engine used. He similarly but more heavily disliked, Balanced Brawl, citing it as his least favorite smash game due to the odd character changes.
