Princess Zelda is a character in Melee and Brawl who originated from the NES classic "The Legend of Zelda" and is a recurring character in that franchise. Zelda was a unique character in Melee in her ability to transform into another charater, Sheik, by pressing down+B. This is not however an exclusive talent in Brawl since characters like the Pokemon Trainer and Samus will have similar abilities. It is currently unknown whether or not Zelda can transform into Sheik in Brawl, since she didn't do so in Twilight Princess.
