Victra is a Canadian Melee smasher and tournament director from Alberta, Canada. Victra is largely responsible for organizing the competitive Super Smash Bros. community in Edmonton, Alberta.
Background
Victra and his fellow crew mate K Lover were dedicated Super Smash Bros. players in their earlier days, but it wasn't until Super Smash Bros. Melee's release on the Gamecube that the two became infatuated with the game.
Victra, though playing Melee for 2 years after purchasing the game, was unaware about the game's competitive scene until late 2005 after reading a large article about the game in issue 195 of Nintendo Power, "Smash Planet". The article included such topics as SWF, Ken Hoang, MLG, rumors about a new installment of Smash Bros., as well as a brief description of wavedashing. Even then, Victra only began to playing Melee more competitively, signing up on the SWF, and discovering the competitive nature of the game. After his discovery, he began to teach what he learned to his crew mates and friends.
