Rutgers Maylay, abbreviated sometimes as RUM, is a crew based on the New Brunswick campus of Rutgers University in the Tristate Area. The name stems from one of Smelly Cat's early Facebook groups, the other being 'NJ SSBM'.
They were originally a group of Melee players who met on campus and supported each other at local tournaments. Since then they've become a team within 'Scarlet Smash', the Smash Bros. club at Rutgers.
