- At Paragon 2015, Hungrybox, Mew2King and Leffen respectively take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in Melee singles, and Mew2King, Nick Riddle, and StaticManny respectively take 1st, 2nd and 3rd in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U singles. Hungrybox & Plup win Melee teams and Mew2King wins Project M singles.

- Wave 4 of Super Smash Bros. amiibo is announced, featuring Robin, Lucina, Wario, Charizard, Ness, and Pac-Man, with release planned for spring. Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS will receive an update adding amiibo compatibility in February.
