Bonsly (ウソハチ, Usohachi) is a fictional creature in the Pokémon media franchise.
Origin
Introduced in Generation IV, Bonsly (#438 in the National Pokédex) is a Rock-type Pokémon, and evolves into Sudowoodo when it levels up knowing Mimic. Its main Abilities are Sturdy and Rock Head. In Generation IV, a Bonsly with Sturdy cannot be damaged by the four one-hit knock out moves. After Generation IV, a Sturdy Bonsly cannot be knocked out from full health. A Rock Head Bonsly will not take recoil damage.
In Super Smash Bros. Brawl
As a Poké Ball Pokémon
Bonsly is one of the Pokémon that appears out of a Poké Ball. If it is not picked up, it will walk back and forth along the ground, similar to a Bob-omb. When it appears, it can be picked up and thrown at enemies, but despite its small size, it is thrown and carried like a Crate rather than a normal item due to its weight. Given this, it won't fly very far when thrown, but it inflicts heavy knockback and damage against opponents it comes in contact with. When thrown, it will also bounce along the ground upon contact with it, while retaining its hitboxes. Like any thrown item, Bonsly can be reflected. It can usually only be thrown 3 times before disappearing.
Damage
Bonsly will always deal 30% damage, no matter how it is thrown.

- Bonsly
- A Bonsai Pokémon. It looks like a plant, but its history reveals it is actually a Rock-type. Its best move among all its speciality moves is Fake Tears. As it grows, it will become skilled at using Mimic, which allows it to copy an opponent's previous move. If it levels up under certain conditions, it evolves into Sudowoodo.
