I feel like, in the same way I removed the "Japan-only" flag indicator from stuff like Mother and The Mysterious Murasame Castle, we should be using "NES" in the console line. It's not particularly important, yeah, but I think it's kind of inconsistent not to. Especially in the case of Mother, since its VC release is based on a prototype cartridge that's definitely for a North American NES. Name discussion
So Super Star just got moved from "Starman (item)", leaving this enemy as the only Starman. But the term "Starman" is still widely-used for the item, and is the in-game name for it in the first three games. There's a few things we can do with this page, such as:
- Leave it as it is.
- Move it to "Starman (enemy)". Where else do we use the series name as a specifier?
- Move it to "Starman" and carefully ensure that all pages of the first three games don't link here by mistake.
What's the best idea? Toomai Glittershine The Victorious 18:47, 3 November 2014 (EST)
- I like option #3, since it's the only one of its kind. If we can't do that, then at least do #2, because we shouldn't use a series name as a specifier. Rtzxy Reflect!!! 18:49, 3 November 2014 (EST)
- Personally, since some people will be looking for Super Star by it's old term, I wouldn't move it to "Starman". I'd rather that page remain a redirect to the disambiguation. Starman (enemy) sounds like the best option to me. Mistiryshak (talk) 18:52, 3 November 2014 (EST)
- We can rename to 'Starman', and just put this on the top of the page. There's no reason to have the '(enemy)' there when the type of Starman appearing doesn't need to be specified. Qwerty (talk) 20:03, 3 November 2014 (EST)

"NES" vs "Famicom"
I feel like, in the same way I removed the "Japan-only" flag indicator from stuff like Mother and The Mysterious Murasame Castle, we should be using "NES" in the console line. It's not particularly important, yeah, but I think it's kind of inconsistent not to.
