Lurchthorns (トツコツ, Totsukotsu) are creatures that originate from the Kid Icarus universe. They serve as a stage hazard on Reset Bomb Forest and as enemies in Smash Run for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS.
Origin
Lurchthorns were introduced in Kid Icarus: Uprising as enemies affiliated with the Forces of Nature. It is capable of launching projectiles from its body segments, which can be destroyed individually leaving fishbone-like structures behind.
