Burst Grenade (炸裂丸, Exploding Pill) is Sheik's side special move in Super Smash Bros. 4. It replaced Chain from Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. When used, Sheik pulls out her chain, which has a small grenade on the end of it rather than the electrical sweetspot Chain had. When the button is released, Sheik pulls the pin on the grenade, causing it to explode. When the grenade explodes, it has a vortex effect that pulls in nearby opponents before the actual explosion occurs.
Customization
Special Move customization was added in Super Smash Bros. 4. These are the known variations:
- Inviting Grenade: No draw in effect before explosion, but enemies hit by the blast are knocked towards Sheik.
- Rolling Grenade: Grenade bounces on the ground away from Sheik with a controllable timed delay before exploding.
