Target Blast (スマッシュボンバー, Smash Bomber) is a gameplay mode that appears in at least Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. The mode is described as a combination of Target Smash and Home-Run Contest, with players beating on a time-bomb and launching it towards targets so as to time the explosion to blow them up, as well as blowing up terrain so as to create a physics-based chain reaction. Players get 2 attempts at this, and are scored based on the combined score of both attempts.
The scores in this mode are used as part of Global Smash Power.
