As a Poké Ball Pokémon
Chespin has been confirmed to appear in at least the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros. 4. It apparently uses the move Seed Bomb, where it shoots explosive seeds from its body at close proximity and detonates them all at once, damaging nearby fighters.
Origin
Chespin, along with Fennekin and Froakie, first appeared in Pokémon X and Y as a Starter Pokémon of the Kalos Region. It is a Grass-type Pokémon that evolves into Quilladin starting at level 16, then Chesnaught starting at level 36. Once it evolves into Chesnaught, it gains a Fighting secondary type and access to the status move Spiky Shield, a variant of Protect that hurts opponents that attempt to lay a contact move on it while it protects itself.
