Carl's Tournament 3, abbreviated as CT3, was the third installment of a Canadian tournament series hosted by FalseFalco on an annual basis occurring on May 5th, 2007. This particular event drew some of the strongest professional smashers from all over Western Canada including NoobKing, Shwn, FastFox, Mike, and Hitsugaya.

Rules

The event was split into 5-person round robin pools to determine seeding for a final double elimination bracket.

Pools

  • 1 match
  • 5-minute time limit
  • 4-stock
  • Stages will be selected randomly from the neutral stage list
  • Double-blind character picks
  • Pausing is off.

Bracket

  • Double Elimintation
  • Best of 3 (Winners bracket finals, Losers bracket finals are best of 5)
    • 4 stock
    • 8 minute time limit
    • Dave's Stupid Rule (You can't counterpick with a stage you have won on)
    • Advanced slob picks (After random match, Loser announces level, Winner character change, Loser character change)
