@Smash Master
If that conversation is over, please tell me. You guys have to understand Smash Master. He didn't know what OT's Smash Skill was in the first place and may do slightly better in tournaments then online. I do have difficulty online and do believe he should have at most on 82% skill level. But don't stress the issue on lag. His excuses are very uncalled for, but try to have a little more respect for the guy. One thing i can't believe on his user page is that he is sixteen. Smash Master if you are reading this, please try to mature. LightningBlue: LBPeep 19:25, 6 May 2012 (EDT)
- I'm going to chime in, and I suggest you all stop posting about this.
- @All of you: Use the IRC for stuff like this. We don't need Wiki talk pages being filled up with e-penis comparisons.
- @All of you: Don't take userpage content so seriously. Yeah, you'll get people exaggerating their actual abilities on userpages (which is especially common with that "smash skill" stat), but if it bothers you, take it up with them on IRC, not on talk pages. The one case where you should bother someone on talk pages about their userpage content with stuff like this, is when they state an obvious, objective falsehood that can affect the Wiki (such as if someone was to claim they were an admin on the Wiki when they're not).
- @Smash Master: If you don't want people thinking you're a poor brawler offline just as you are online, get offline tournament results to prove it, or at the very least, show them some video of an offline match of yours to show that your play style is hindered by lag as much as you claimed (show it to them on IRC of course). Though as they pointed out, some lag doesn't turn you from a pro into a c-stick and roll spammer, so expecting them to believe you without proof (or with the claim that you're going to tournaments soon) is unrealistic. Also, turn down the arrogance. The reason why you've been bothered about this in the first place, is the fact you initially claimed you could beat me unlike everyone else on the Wiki, and then proceeded to claim you would beat me consistently offline, which with what happened online and my own offline results, show to the others on the Wiki to be an attempt to stroke your ego. You were proceeded to be bothered farther because of your apparent seriousness with the high thoughts of yourself on your userspace. In comparison, Dots once claimed his skill to be a "top professional" and had his "smash skill" at 100%, and while that did get some mocking on the IRC, he was never bothered about it as he never claimed himself to be better than others on the Wiki, or took a generally arrogant tone in regard to himself.
