Event Match 38: Super Mario Bros. 2 is one of the 51 event matches in Super Smash Bros. Melee. As the title says, this event is related to Super Mario Bros. 2, the characters and the stage, namely fighting against Mario, Luigi, and Peach on the stage Mushroom Kingdom II.
The description of this event is slightly inaccurate because Toad is not there as a playable character in his own right, although he is present as one of Peach's attacks.
