A small fix
Could an sysop replace
|style="background-color:#ddddee;border:2px outset #9999bb;text-align:center;padding:2px 5px"| [{{fullurl:Smasher:{{FULLPAGENAMEE}}|action=edit&preload=Template:Newpage_smasher&editintro=Template:Newpage_smasher_instructions}} Smasher] |}
with
|style="background-color:#ddddee;border:2px outset #9999bb;text-align:center;padding:2px 5px"| [{{fullurl:Smasher:{{PAGENAMEE}}|action=edit&preload=Template:Newpage_smasher&editintro=Template:Newpage_smasher_instructions}} Smasher] |}
So that when an editor tries to make a smasher page while at his/her user page, it will not add "User:" to the title of the new page. Logan - (Talk·Contributions) 00:38, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
- So that's why I see so many of those weird Smasher:User pages. I don't know how to do that, so I guess contacting a sysop that knows that coding stuff would be better than a general talk page. FyreNWater - (Talk • Contributions ) 08:10, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
How was this made?
The Ace Attorney Wiki has had a lot of problems with people not putting proper templates in, and I figured this button system would help to alleviate this. So... I'm rather puzzled as to how these buttons work. I don't want to make random test pages here, as that would be bothersome for the admins here. capefeather (talk) 17:31, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
You can still use the buttons with preload files.
For example, you could create "Template:Smasherbeta/preload" and call the template there. The problem is that you can't put anything else on there or it'll mess it up. capefeather (talk) 00:06, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
