Gallery is a mode in both Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Brawl under the Trophy section of the Main menu, where players can view individual trophies, and a list that shows the player what trophies they have, and how many of each trophy.

In Super Smash Bros. Melee

When viewing individual trophies, the player can read flavour text about the subject of the trophy, as well as what game it first appeared in, when that game came out, and, exclusive to the Japanese language, what month and year the game was released.

Diskun's trophy and flavour text.

From there, the player can press the A button to enter a viewing mode; in this mode, the player can zoom in and out on the trophy, as well as change the background lighting.

Additionally, players have the ability to arrange this checklist by three ways: "Normal", "Game" (which arranges them by universe of origin), and "A-Z" (which arranges them by name).

The checklist for the trophies.

As an added Easter egg to players, any song previously played in the Sound Test will play when using the Gallery mode.
