The Peanut is an item which is sometimes left over when a shell of one of Diddy Kong's peanuts shatters. They come from the shots fired during Diddy's Final Smash, Rocketbarrel Barrage and Diddy's special move, Peanut Popgun. Peanuts act like food, so they can be eaten to recover 2% damage and can also be eaten while reclined.

- There can be only 4 peanuts at the same time on a stage.
