Piplup's second evolution is Prinplup, who eventually evolves into Empoleon. In the anime, Dawn chose Piplup as her starter Pokémon after she rescued it from a group of giant Ariados. Piplup had trouble accepting Dawn as its trainer, but eventually began to trust her. Dawn uses Piplup to fight in both battles and in contests.

Piplup is a Pokémon that comes out of a Poké Ball in Brawl.

Character description
