Piplup is a Pokémon that comes out of a Poké Ball in Brawl.
Character description
Piplip is one of the three starter Pokémon that a trainer can recieve from Professor Rowan in Pokémon Diamond & Pearl. Piplup resembles a small blue bipedal penguin. Piplup's second evolution is Prinplup, who eventually evolves into Empoleon. In the anime, Dawn chose Piplup as her starter Pokémon after she rescued it from a group of giant Ariados. Piplup had trouble accepting Dawn as its trainer, but eventually began to trust her. Dawn uses Piplup to fight in both battles and in contests.
