"Nolimar" refers to a fighting style in which you play as Olimar without using any Pikmin. This can actually be a great fighting style in the right hands.
Without using Pikmin, Olimar is limited to only eight moves: His Neutral A combo, his Forward Tilt, his Down Tilt, his Up Tilt, his Neutral Air, his Dash Attack, his Down B, and his Final Smash. Even with only these 8 moves, Olimar can still KO opponents. His FTilt and DTilt have enough knockback to kill opponents with moderately high damage, and his Down B can give him Super Armor if used at the right time. His final Smash is still immensely powerful.
