Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome, editors and users, to the Smash Arena! Each week this forum hosts a tussle between two characters from the Super Smash Bros. series! The winner gets, well, nothing. It's more of a poll but functionally, this is a popularity contest. You may vote for your favorite or who you think would win in an competition between the two combatants that round. No, you don't have to vote for the character with strength & power, just vote if you are a total fanboy of the character. So what are you waiting for? Get voting! Remember, you can remain anonymous! If you have any requests for future fights, please feel free to leave a message here.

The Rules, Briefly

1. You can only vote once.
2. Vote under the name of the fighter you are voting for.
3. When voting, you can give a brief comment on why you voted for that fighter, or you can just leave your signature.
4. ALWAYS put # when you vote so it can help us count the votes!!
5. ALWAYS put in your signature with ~~~~. This is required for both signed on users and anon users.
6. Any comments about the fight should be left in the comments sections.
7. DON'T LEAVE A SPACE BETWEEN YOUR POST AND THE POSTS ABOVE AND BELOW YOURS!
   

Any user who does not adhere to these rules will have their vote deleted.

Round 41: Mario vs. DK

This rivalry has been going on for almost thirty years. It just hadn't been contested in the Arena yet. That has now changed! Man versus monkey! Sapiens versus simian! Mario, the everyman plumber, versus Donkey Kong, the picture of strength!
Votes for Mario Mario has undergone millions of years of evolution, meanwhile Kongs were eating bananas atop barrels. Mario also defeated DK in the first game he appeared in. They block your view. They annoy your ears. They are useless against computers. They make you go "GAH!". And they're both animals with a thing for barking at you. It's the screen-scratching Nintendog versus the seemingly-infinite-speeching Mr. Resetti! Which is your favourite (that is, which do you hate the least)?
Votes for Mr. Resetti Marginally less evil as an Assist Trophy, and he can actually be quite funny.
