:::How about sticking people? Using down throw to tech chase? Kicking people in the gut with neutral air? Snakedashing an unsuspecting opponent? Grenade-stripping? Killing some characters at around 85% with up tilt's incredible speed and range? Edgeguarding people by spamming up smash? Seriously, Snake is one of the funnest characters to use. There are lots of characters that are more boring than Snake. Like Bowser. He's slower, has weaker tilts, and has a dumb projectile that becomes nothing in like 5 seconds of continuous use. ::::That's only a few things. And honestly, it's not really satisfying as say...hitting your opponent with a Falcon Punch. Bowser is really fun to play as because every attack you land is like a reward. And I'm talking about Snake's compatibility with all stages, ie: Luigi's Mansion or 75m. Discuss.
OK, I'll list the reasons why Snake is boring to me.
- Majority of moves involve waiting.
- Examples:
- Up Special: Can only be used to recover.
- Down Special: You wait. Yay. Most of the time you don't even use it unless you need to recover.
- Side Special: Nikata. Pretty interesting at first, but you'll slowly lose interest.
- Special: Grenades. Wait for them to explode.
- Down Smash: z0mg waetin@@@
- Examples:
- He runs at an average speed, nothing special.
- His moveset can be described as "situational"...you'll only be using certain moves when your opponent is in a certain place.
- Aeriel attacks aren't even worth using in close combat.
- Difficult spike. And not "interestingly" difficult.
- Basically only has one taunt.
- Taunt is almost completely silent and unnoticeable.
- Sure, you can use his codec, but not in the middle of the battle.
So, yeah. That's kind of all I can think of now. The only thing Snake does that amuses me is breaking necks. That's about it.

But it's fun juggling and comboing other characters around up tilt, down tilt, up smash, up aerial, back aerial and back throw. Meteorite (talk) 07:25, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
- Well, yeah, but that's only if they decide to fall straight at you, most of the time. CAFINATOR Indeed 18:24, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
- But Snake has a long reach. One down tilt is all it needs to make the comboing fun. Meteorite (talk) 10:03, 24 October 2008 (UTC)
