SmashWiki:Requests for rollback

This page documents an official SmashWiki policy, a widely accepted standard that all users should follow. When editing this page, please ensure that your revision reflects consensus. If in doubt, consider discussing changes on the talk page.

This page is for requesting that one is granted Rollback powers on SmashWiki.

Rules

• Only self-nominations are allowed.
• All new nominees should post their name below as a in a level 3 header (===Username===). Underneath, the user should state why he/she would like to be granted Rollback powers.
• Users who wish to support, oppose, or comment on the nomination may do so underneath the person requesting Rollback powers.
• After sufficient time has passed to allow all users who wish to express an opinion the chance to do so, a decision will be made based on community consensus as to whether or not the request will succeed. Once a decision has been made, the discussion will be archived and moved to an appropriate subpage.

Oxico

I am Oxico. I have been a vivid editor to this wiki since before the time it was in Wikia. Now, I could say how I created almost all the Final Smash pages and provided the damage percentages. I could also tell you how I beefed up almost all the movesets. I could also drone on and on about how I have made more than 1500 edits to the main wiki. But, being humble, I will not brag. Instead, I will provde a link to a list of all my contributions to the main namespace, because I know actions speak louder than words.

1. If you can't recognize that was a NPA violation then you have a serious problem.
2. If you would actually read what I wrote, then you would notice that- unlike DE- I supported Oxico. I am running for rollback. I have made a lot of edits, and I've been reverting vandal's edits like a rollback should do. Plus, I have been here for quite a while now, and I'm an active user. I do not vandalize pages, and I have never vandalized. I deserve to be a rollback. I have improved my grammar and spelling, so I basically will not spell things wrong. I do not use slang OR contractions very much. I would help the wiki in all that is needed. It will be best for me and you. Whoo. O.K. Here I go.

I am running for rollback because I am on Smashwiki as much as I can(which is nearly the entire weekend, and sometimes Mon-Fri), I consider myself trustworthy, and I haven't vandalized and I am against vandalism(remember LarioGalaxy or MarioGlaxay? I reverted many of their edits). I feel that not much more should be said, as it is just rollback, which can only be used against vandals, and with this message, I hope you support my RfR. Thank you. "I like this guy!" "This stage stinks!", among others. Only improvement I suggest is a little more time here on SmashWiki. How about you break your collarbone? Rollback's main purpose is to stop vandalism. As long as a user is active, and is not a vandal (I've never seen or heard of any instances where SK has vandalized), he or she, in my opinion, is worthy. Cheezperson {talk}stuff 23:20, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

I still have reservations about Smoreking, particularly when it comes to how he responds to vandals (i.e. he doesn't always seem to realize the value of dealing with vandals quietly), but he's been more active in combating vandalism as of late, so I'm withdrawing my opposition for now. – Defiant Elements +talk 21:10, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

Blue Ninjakoopa

Hai der, everyone. I'm Blue Ninjakoopa, also known as BNK or Blue Before I start, I'd like to say that I am somewhat requesting this because almost all of my friends have it. I figured I could give it a go, as I know how to deal with vandals. My edit count is average, and I have kept my cool for about 4 days. I made a forum apologizing about my recent actions, by the way. I have put my fair share of deletion tags on articles and I have reported much vandalism to Clarinet Hawk. Today I reverted an edit by an IP that suggested Falcon got his moveset from one of Kirby's copy abilities, so yeah.

I'd really like to have this status, so I can aid my fellow Smash Wikians in this seemingly never-ending war between users and vandal IPs. For those who will support me, I thank you, but for those that oppose, please note that I will accept your reason. I can also mean srs bsns, and I don't get why some think it's a bad thing to mean both hmrs bsns and srs bsns. Hey, I'm cheez, and I'm running for rollback a month later than I should have. I come here everyday, and I am well known as an active contributor. I'm also good at solving problems, but that's not why I'm getting rollback. I want to prove myself to the community. Hopefully, this will give more experience in fighting vandalism and making this site better overall. Yes I know I was a poor contributor at the start, but I really have changed. During my time as administrator of the Smash Arena, I learned a lot about how to get along with other users and about responsibilty. I have always tried to make good edits, and I do revert vandalism as much as I can. Rollback powers would not be wasted on me.
