Tamagon is the main character of the NES game Devil World, who goes through mazes to collecting crosses and bibles in order to defeat the Devil.
In the Super Smash Bros. series
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Tamagon appears as a trophy in the Japanese version Super Smash Bros. Melee. It is available in the US version only through hacking, and not at all in the PAL version (which is odd, since the game was released in Europe). The description erroneously lists the character's origin game as Demon World, Japan Only.
Description (Trophy #258)
"This is the main character of a Japanese NES game never released in North America. In this quirky maze game, your goal was to work your way through a series of scrolling mazes while battling the cyclopean henchmen of a large, winged demon. Tamagon not only had to worry about the evil creatures, but also the walls, which were extremely harmful."

Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Tamagon appears as a sticker in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
