Starly is one of the many species of Pokémon. It is a small grey bird, and is one of the most common Pokemon for new trainers to catch early on.

Creature description

Starly is a common small bird Pokémon in the Sinnoh region where the 4th generation Pokémon games take place. Pokédex information states that it is rarely alone and is barely noticeable by itself even if it is alone; because they are weak individually, they form flocks of great numbers. However, they bicker if the group grows too big. It makes very loud, harsh cries and can flap its deceptively small wings with great power.

Ash Ketchum owned a Starly, which evolved into a Staravia, then into a Staraptor.

Starly appears as a collectible trophy.

Starly
A Starling Pokemon. It usually lives and travels in large flocks, so a single Starly will go unnoticed. To make up for this, its call is very noisy. It can often be found in places with heavy vegetation. Its small frame and cute appearance belie the incredible power with which it flaps its wings. When it levels up, it evolves into Staravia.
