Ludwig Ahgren Championship Series (LACS) is a series of online Super Smash Bros. Melee tournaments organized by Ludwig. While the first three installments were invitationals, the fourth was an open tournament. Since Ludwig Ahgren Championship Series 2, it has had some of the largest prize pools in Melee history (offline or online), and each tournament has had the largest prize pool for an online Smash Bros. tournament. The prize pools are often $1 or $2 more than a multiple of $1,000, in order to place them untied in the top ten largest prize pools for a Melee tournament at the time.
