In September 2006, Snap was ranked in NorCal Melee's very first Power Ranking, as the 9th rank. That year, he defeated both Isai and Eddie in tournament at OC2. In 2008, shortly after the release of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Snap retired from Smash. In June 2019, Snap officially came out of retirement. Since returning to competitive Melee, Snap has notably taken sets off of Nintendude, FatGoku, NMW, Salt, Darkatma, Palpa, Warmmer, Asashi, Dawson, Travioli, and Medz.
