Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen are two Pokémon games that were introduced during the third generation of Pokémon games. FireRed and LeafGreen are actually remakes of the first generation Pokémon games Pokémon Red & Blue. However, FireRed and LeafGreen are consider part of the third generation of Pokémon games. FireRed and LeafGreen expands on the gameplay of Pokémon Red & Blue. FireRed and LeafGreen uses features that were available in the second and third generation of Pokémon games. Some new features include better graphics, double battles, new moves that come from the second and third generation of games, and the inclusion of Johto and Hoenn Pokémon. FireRed and LeafGreen also include a new island quest that players can travel to after they beat the Elite Four.
