Anther's Ladder, sometimes referred to as Smashladder or Smash Ladder, is a website used to facilitate online play between players for Super Smash Bros., Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Smash Bros. 4, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, as well as Project M, Rivals of Aether, and fan game Super Smash Flash 2. Created by top professional player Anther in March 2014 as a replacement for Project M IRC channels and DaBessDI Wi-Fi Chat, Anther's Ladder allows players to host netplay tournaments for the various games, directly challenge other players, and take part in a season-long ladder where players play against numerous others in the same game to reach the top of the season's rankings. A large number of professional players are active on Anther's Ladder, such as Hungrybox, ZeRo, Kage and MrLz.

Outside of facilitating netplay, Anther's Ladder notably contains numerous tutorials on how to run netplay, as well as how to optimise emulators, create Project M ISOs, and similar interests.

Trivia[edit]

  • For April Fools of 2016, Rock Paper Scissors was entered onto the site as a game via a web interface between the two players to play the game. It remains on the site after April Fools and still has a running ladder.
