The A Button refers to the large, green button on the GameCube controller, the large, blue button on the Nintendo 64 controller, the rectangular trigger on the back of the Wiimote, or the small, clear button towards the bottom right of the Classic controller. In SSB and SSBM, it activates the Normal Attacks, which include smash attacks, tilt attacks, neutral A, dash attacks, and aerial attacks. It is unknown what it will do in SSBB.
