As best I can tell the only other players to have attended a tourney out of the prefecture is hinuta who attended a karisuma and a few umeburas in Smash 4 and Ult. He managed to get out of the pools at the Karisumas, but no further and placed 193rd at Ymebura sp 5 and Umebura Japan Major. Also attended umebura 14 but ended up in B class. Nothing too impressive nor awful. Anyway as I said Im unsure if this is just a scene we don't much about and hence the names we don't know or if it's just a tourney that isn't notable. Deletion?
Not voting either way, as I'm not entirely comfortable with where exactly our line on notability is with tournies. But I want to give the tournament some context for when people decide.
As best I can tell the reasons to delete this tourney would be it's scale and the number of notable players. Both of those are legitimate reasons in my book.
Regarding the scale, it is small but it appears to be the most notable tourney series in the prefecture. Chubu as a region has much more significant series, but it's important to remember that Chubu is actually a very large region for Japan. This prefecture had a population of just under 3.7 million which puts on par with the Shikoku region in population (around 3.8 million).
This is important both because it tells us about this prefectures scene but also because it is possible the players in this region don't travel and so it makes it hard for us to know who are the notable players in the region if only looking at the rest of Japan.
Looking at the players here. Neon is obviously a notable player with fairly significant accomplishments. Also one that travels on occasion.
If smashgg and Haruki page are to believed the only tournaments out of prefecture that Kurtz attended were EVO Japan and Sumabato Big House placing respectable 97th and 65th. At EVO he did get respectable wins on Fuwa and Shirayuki.

- "NUMASUMA1" is NUMASUMA's anniversary convention.
The convention is small in scale. However, it has grown to "NUMASUMA 5". I want to keep that history on the wiki.
I believe that it can boost "Smash Bros SP" in Japan. Ochawo (talk) 14:47, March 8, 2022 (EST)
