Cheap means using an tactic that is not tournament-caliber, but still winning with it. Often it includes tactics that resort to low blows, deception, attacking when the opponent is distracted (or causing a distraction), or using a sure-fire attack that is deemed "too powerful" to be used by advanced players.

If a player wishes to be respected in tournaments, he or she should avoid using cheap attacks or tactics.

Examples of Cheap Tactics

SSB
Infinite throw trap

SSBM
The kamikaze glitch

Both Games
Kirbycide
Camping
