Series Clash! DK Vs. Kirby! (シリーズ対決！ ドンキーコング VS カービィ, Series Showdown! Donkey Kong VS Kirby) was an Event Tourney based around both the Donkey Kong and Kirby series. It ran from 6 a.m. on May 1, 2020 to 6 a.m. on May 4, 2020 (UTC). During the event, only characters and stages from the Donkey Kong and Kirby series could be used.
Description
North America
- This time-limited tourney features fighters from the Donkey Kong series and the Kirby series! Did Kirby inhale the banana hoard?
- Only stages from the two series will appear, and the further you advance, the better the spirit you'll win![1]
PAL regions
- In this time-limited tourney, characters from the Donkey Kong series face off against characters from the Kirby series!
- Only stages from the two series will appear, and the further you advance, the better the spirit you'll win![2]

Trivia
- Series Clash! DK Vs. Kirby is tied with Triforce Tryouts for the least amount of available fighters for an Event Tourney, with 6.
- While Donkey Kong and Kirby share the same amount of fighters, 75m and The Great Cave Offensive are the only stages from these universes in Ultimate to not appear in this Tourney.
- The Planet Popstar graphic on this event's splash image has a dot pattern and drop-shadow effect that are prominent throughout Kirby Star Allies.
- Unlike the other events that focus on specific series, the event rewards spirits outside of the focused series.
