Reflex is a great Bowser player from Alabama, although he lives so close to Columbus, GA that he often associates himself with the smashers there. He tends to be very strange and upbeat at tournaments and loves to have fun. He has, and still does continue to impress people with his Bowser and other low-to-bottom tier characters. He has placed respectfully in tournaments and really shows what one can do with the bottom tier.

Although he has been playing for over five years, he first went into the tournament scene in summer of 2006. He is fairly proficient with every character in the game, but in tournament play, he restricts himself to using low tier characters. According to him, he is not sure of what his motives are. The challenge; the uniqueness; the fanbase; he holds all of these close to his heart.

His odd but charming demeanor and skill has made him a fan favorite among players in his area. Reflex's tendencies to act out the moves that his character is performing makes him very entertaining to watch. Usually, whoever is watching Reflex play a match ends up watching Reflex instead.

Although Reflex's technical skill is only decent, his proficiency at Smash stems from his ability to predict his opponent's moves, which he feels is essential for his playing style to excel.

He is currently listed as #8 on the Mid-South Power Rankings and #1 on the Mid-South Brawl Power Rankings.

Reflex is also the creator of the "Lava Combo" which involves utilization of the acid on Brinstar in order to combo.
