Motobug is a Project M Sonic player from Massachusetts who is considered to be the best active Sonic player in the world. He is currently ranked 3rd on the Massachusetts Project M Power Rankings and 32nd on PMRank 2019, having achieved local wins over players such as Twisty, Yung Quaff, and Kumatora, and wins over players such as Sothe, Phresh, Blank, and Flipp on the national level.
