- Frisk from Undertale has been announced to be the second character in the Fighter Pass vol. 2. Risk will be releasing sometime after the unnamed ARMS character in July. Oh wait, no more ARMS character. SpongeBob is the next character.

- At Super Smash Bros. Online Quarantine Invitational 2020, Hungrybox, Zfly, and Samsora take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively in Ultimate singles; ZeRo, Zero (Tennessee), and Zero (Texas) take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U singles.

- Since Masahiro Sakurai has nothing to inside his house, he decided to reveal the whole Fighters Pass Volume 2 DLC Fighters, which have been revealed to be an ARMS character, Movie Sonic, Old Movie Sonic, Captain Douglas Jay Falcon, Thanos, and Hotel Mario. He later revealed a third Fighters Pass, which includes every caracter here not already in Ultimate.
