The Yoshi Team in the 1-Player mode of Super Smash Bros. is made up of 18 Multi-Colored Yoshi's. They are the second opponent(s) you will face, after Link. Rarely attacking, each Yoshi is very weak and will die to almost any attack, rather, they will jump in random directions, often off the edge. Killing them in the order they fall yields the Yoshi Rainbow bonus.
The Yoshi Team also makes an appearance in SSBM in the Mushroom Kingdom Adventure level. They are functionally almost identical.
