Shopping for spirits is unlocked during the first World of Light campaign in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate after collecting one of the Master Spirits that manage a store.
As opposed to regular stores in other Super Smash Bros. games, these shops only accept SP (Spirit Points) to purchase. Skill Spheres, Snacks, and Support Items are also available.
A combination of four spirits and/or items are available per store at a time. Buying one will cause that space to be Sold Out momentarily. The space will be filled after a period of time with a different option. Regularly, the shops will offer 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% or even 50% off on any item in display.
