From my guessing It’s because unlike Base characters most of character images for the DLC are imported from the official ultimate website (excluding Banjo) and some other sources aren’t consistent either because they lack shadows. Would this be better without the drop shadow?
I feel like it would be better to have the version without the drop shadow be the default. This is so the default is consistent with all of the base game renders.
