The Central Texas Power Rankings are the power rankings for what is also described as the Texas Triangle conurbation of Texas. These rankings are a combination of the San Antonio Power Rankings, Austin Power Rankings, Dallas-Fort Worth Power Rankings, and Houston Power Rankings.
This power ranking was previously considered the statewide Texas Power Rankings. The PR was renamed in 2015 with the idea that the large size of the state necessitated a separate PR for it's most active region in order to be fair to Texas players who are not able to regularly travel to the Texas Triangle to compete. Despite this specification, players from outside Central Texas have occasionally appeared on the PR, specifically players from the Rio Grande Valley region of South Texas.
