amiibo Tag Team Tourney (育てたamiiboと挑め! タッグトーナメント), known as Stand By Me, amiibo in PAL regions, was an Event Tourney that ran from 6 a.m. on January 10, 2020 to 6 a.m. on January 13, 2020 (UTC). During the event, all matches are team battles with amiibo teammates.
Description
North America
- In this time-limited Team Battle tourney, you call forth an FP from its amiibo and team up with it.
- Learn to work together with your FP and emerge victorious!
- Note: You cannot team up with other players. An amiibo (sold separately) is required to enter this tourney.[1]
PAL regions

Trivia
- This is the first Online Tourney event to feature team battles.
- The characters who could not participate as an amiibo teammate are Dark Samus, Richter, Joker, Hero, Banjo & Kazooie, and Terry due to their amiibo not releasing before the tournament.
