This
Unlike talk pages, there actually isn't a set rule about this. Trivia's more of a list of importance/priority. Aidan, the Spooky Rurouni 00:27, 4 October 2018 (EDT)

What is wrong with you? 107.77.245.5 02:14, 7 October 2018 (EDT)
- I'm not SonicSpeed, but can you please elaborate? As the one who reverted you initially, I can tell you there were several good reasons for doing so. First off, I'm dubious that the *ahem* 'keffiyeh' exists in either of the Splatoon games (in fact, as far as I can tell, it doesn't). Secondly, even if the trivia you're trying to add is true, it's not notable for the fact that there are literally hundreds of different gear items in the Splatoon games, and we certainly should not be going around listing what isn't in Smash, as that's going to be an incredibly bloated list. Finally, even if the trivia WAS notable, it belongs on the SSBU fighter page, not the character's article. If you think you can convince me otherwise, please by all means let me hear it, but I really do not think the trivia you're trying to add should be added. Thank you for understanding. Black Vulpine of the Furry Nation. Furries make the internets go! :3 02:23, 7 October 2018 (EDT)
Stop with the Sheik page war
You need to Stop. ITs already been proven that the smash B log referring to sheik as male is a mistake, as all other forms of official Nintendo media posts refer to Sheik as female. On the Official Nintendo VS Twitter account, the Official Nintendo Tumblr, and even on the Official Nintendo Switch News Feed Channel. By insisting on the usage of the blogs quote, you're willingly allowing misinformation to be posted on the wiki, which is a mistake only an armature would make. You know the correct information, so thats what we should put instead. Not willingly host company mistakes and treat them like they aren't.

Edit Warring
Edit warring over an article's contents, unless it's actual vandalism, is not acceptable. You should assume good faith in other users and discuss the changes on the talk page or on the other editor's talk page. The only revert once policy still applies even when you think your edit is right. Take care not to repeat that in the future. – Emmett 17:06, 9 October 2018 (EDT)
Mike West in Starlink?
Digital preorders are already up for the Switch version of Starlink. I would know cuz I placed my preorder for the Digital Deluxe version. Is there a PNR or something cuz I seriously doubt Ubisoft would cancel the game at the very last minute. I do plan on re-adding Starlink to the list of West’s portrayal of Fox in his Smash Ultimate page. Just want your input on this. DatAlphaLion (talk) 10:32, 10 October 2018 (EDT)
- Personally, I would just wait to add it back when the game releases next week. You do have the right idea, though. It'll just have to wait a bit longer, that's all. Sonic, the Speedy Spookable 11:15, 10 October 2018 (EDT)
Already placed Starlink back on his character page. Let’s make sure this doesn’t get changed cuz it still is West portraying the character. DatAlphaLion (talk) 12:01, 25 October 2018 (EDT)

About your sig
Your current Halloween signature does not actually lead to your user space, it’s a red link that simply goes to SonicSpeed, rather than SonicSpeed48 like you probably want it to do. I think your sig has to lead to your user space, though I might be wrong about that. Just a heads up, nothing serious. 72.133.91.93 09:50, 11 October 2018 (EDT)Blueflame105
- Thanks for the heads up! Sonic, the Speedy Spookable 10:06, 11 October 2018 (EDT)
Recent reverts to Daisy
And that's not mentioning that you've been in another edit war in the past week alone. Remember to use talk pages more often. — Nokii (T·C·L) 10:47, 11 October 2018 (EDT)
1RV - Final Warning
You have violated SW:1RV again on this page. This is your third warning for edit warring in the last five days. The undo edit summary is not a substitute for discussion on the talk page or with the relevant users and is not an excuse for edit warring. Do not repeatedly revert; you will not be warned again.
Additionally, there are multiple unexplained reverts in your recent contributions. None of the edits you reverted were obviously bad faith, and deserve an explanation; other users looking at your reverts have no idea why you made those edits or whether they are legitimate. In addition to the above warning about not repeatedly reverting, in the future, unless an edit is clearly vandalism, make sure that your first revert is well-justified and that you provide that justification in the edit summary. – Emmett 18:34, 14 October 2018 (EDT)
Changes to Character Galleries
Hi, SonicSpeed48. I probably should have brought this up in a discussion on some page or something before implementing any changes, but I don’t think we have any official rule or policy to dictate how images should be added to character galleries. From my perspective, including all of these pictures looks uncurated, sloppy, and does not add anything to the article. I have felt strongly about this for quite some time. If characters had their own dedicated gallery pages, I would be more lenient, but for the main fighter articles, why should a picture of Bowser's foot be in the gallery subsection just because it's his? Nintendo101 (talk) 07:24, 16 October 2018 (EDT)
- I concur and would like to add another example: this image being on Snake's page when only his foot is in view. VoqéoT 07:27, 16 October 2018 (EDT)
- It really shouldn't be there. It's really only worthy when at least the subject's head is visible. Black Vulpine of the Furry Nation. Furries make the internets go! :3 07:31, 16 October 2018 (EDT)
- This could just be me, but I also take issue with an image like this one being on the Ice Climbers' page where Togodemaru is clearly the focus and you couldn't even tell that the Ice Climbers were in it unless you looked at it closely. Nintendo101 (talk) 07:43, 16 October 2018 (EDT)
- I also concur; I think images should generally be focused on the character in question if they're on a character page. – Emmett 08:41, 16 October 2018 (EDT)
- Okay, I get the ones that are barely visible on a photo (Duck Hunt on Wolf's and Villager's, Meta Knight on Ike's, Bowser on Bewear's, Snake on Lucario's, Luigi on Mii Fighter's, etc.), but when it shows the characters' head or whole body (Diddy Kong and Lucas on Marshadow's or Villager on King K. Rool's) like what BV said, at least keep those ones in the gallery. They may not be the main focus of the image, but it is still an appearance. Do what you must, I'm not going to start another edit war on it. Sonic, the Speedy Spookable 13:42, 16 October 2018 (EDT)

Roy's English voice (1RV...)
Roy is definitely voiced in English in the current demo version of the game. Your revert to the Cloud page seems to be based on the claim about who specifically is voicing Roy, but the editor only wrote that in their summary, not in the article. So the trivia point about Cloud they adjusted was correct. SuperFalconBros (talk) 00:12, 4 November 2018 (EDT)
[[:Category:<name>| ]] syntax
exists to keep the article at the top of whatever category. I am not sure if this is necessary for fighter articles, but that's what it's for. Serpent King 13:19, 5 November 2018 (EST)
On Umbra King's edit here
Yeah I should probably take the blame here. I told him on the talk page that he should find evidence for his edits, but was too late in notifying him to talk about it first on the page's talk page. SugarCookie420 (talk) 17:22, 17 November 2018 (EST)
Actually did what you said SugarCookie420! I put evidence in my edit summary! I put the video I'm referring to AND timestamps!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Umbra King7991 (talk • contribs) 17:36, November 17, 2018
- First, don't forget to sign your posts with four tildes. Second, you may have missed it, but I also told you to talk about it in the talk section and not make an edit because you have already violated only revert once multiple times already. SugarCookie420 (talk) 17:41, 17 November 2018 (EST)
Final Destination
The game may not be out but everything has leaked. I myself have the game's music files on-hand and other people have uploaded them to YouTube. There are literally videos of the new FD in reverse. Watch one. My added trivia is correct. WrappedInBlack (talk) 14:27, 27 November 2018 (EST)
- If I may, your trivia, while true, is vague; there isn't specific BGM for Final Destination (because you can pick any Smash song to play). If you want, this can wait and be put on the Smash music page when the full game releases and we have a name for the song. Aidan, the Festive Rurouni 14:35, 27 November 2018 (EST)
Clear up
Sorry that I confused you, I was reverting the change of someone copying and pasting Pit's to Dark Pit's page. But I guess you reverted my earlier revert so that nullified my second revert which was the rest of the pasted info. Like you've done earlier, I thought we couldn't be entirely sure that pit and dark pit have the same attack data. I gotta say you are everywhere! --98.151.46.222 00:00, 1 December 2018 (EST)
- Thank you, I think. And for future reference, new talk page subjects go at the bottom. Thanks! Sonic, the Cheerful Speedster 01:00, 1 December 2018 (EST)
- So if we're all good, could I get rid of Zakwawer2's changes? I may have to undo your latest one in order to undo his.--98.151.46.222 01:12, 1 December 2018 (EST)
- Sorry, but that would break SW:1RV. Once a revert has been done, it can't be undone, unless it was from a user with bad editing intentions like spammers or vandals. Otherwise, I think it's best to leave it be. Also, when on a talk page, after responding to a comment, you must put a ":" before the comment, and one more than the other for other comments. Sonic, the Cheerful Speedster 01:36, 1 December 2018 (EST)
- Incorrect. 1RV prevents further edits without a consensus. Once a decision on the talk page is made, an action can be performed. Black Vulpine of the Furry Nation. Furries make the internets go! :3 02:21, 1 December 2018 (EST)

Regarding this
I've seen you use that edit summary on more than a few occasions. Just say, "Only write in third-person on wikis", it's easier to understand. You can also direct them to the Manual of style, it covers the subject. Handy tips. Black Vulpine of the Furry Nation. Furries make the internets go! :3 03:50, 2 December 2018 (EST)
- If it's easier to understand, then I'll try, BV. Thanks for the heads-up. Sonic, the Cheerful Speedster 03:58, 2 December 2018 (EST)
Classic Mode being listed on fighter pages
Why? There's no need for this. It's clunky, and it looks weird, and it doesn't fit. Aidan, the Festive Rurouni 14:10, 4 December 2018 (EST)
- Oh, we weren't supposed to do that? I only did it because I saw it done on Wolf's fighter page. I had no idea it looked weird like you say it does. Sonic, the Cheerful Speedster 15:43, 4 December 2018 (EST)
- It just looked a little wonky. Discussion on Discord over this led to me not being against it, but the section on "appearing in other characters' Classic Modes" thing was generally agreed to be an irksome thing to have. That said, if you're going to add it back, I'd like to suggest having the header for the section be "Classic Mode: [name of Classic Mode here]". Aidan, the Festive Rurouni 22:48, 4 December 2018 (EST)

Increase knockback is not always a buff
You probably don't understand that. Just because increase knockback on throws doesn't always means a buff. Unless it is meant to bait out air dodge, 50:50s, setting up potential edge guards or increase in KOing ability, more knockback is more harm than good. It would either serve no purpose for a throw or reduce combo ability. 184.89.146.240 23:49, 5 December 2018 (EST)
- "I'm siding with Peabody here, more knockback is more of a buff than anything, even with the consequence of less combo ability."
- Not a good reason here. You're gonna have to explain this, back up your claims or you can't prove it wrong on competitive smash. 184.89.146.240 00:04, 6 December 2018 (EST)

Sorry
I'm sorry you "worked your ass off" to put spirits in alphabetical order, but users can already sort the spirits by name by clicking on the arrow right next to the column label or on the label itself, there is no need to sort manually those lists by name. Furthermore, the spirits lists should actually be sorted by number by default, that's the official order of the spirits in regard to the game, sorting them by name isn't relevant as it varies depending on which language is set. I'm truly sorry you spend time sorting those list without knowing users can already do that on their own, I can imagine how frustrating it could be to find out what you did manually was already a option build in wiki, especially assuming you spend at least as much time doing that as I did reverting it. I'm trully sorry. 81.254.247.115 13:59, 15 January 2019 (EST)
