Aftermath is an American smasher hailing from Portland, Oregon who mains Samus. He is a member of the crew Team Rocket with Juce (their names Jesse and James are a pun off the Pokémon show's antagonists' names) and has been a regular contributor to SmashBoards, including a character-specific how-to guide on Samus play. He also discovered the black hole glitch.
Having been one of the "founding fathers" of his state, he helped to set the foundation for tournament protocols.
Not too long after Brawl's release, Aftermath had a short stay in the state of Washington, but once again moved back to his home state of Oregon. He has become much less involved in the local Smash scene, but is still fondly remembered by many of the current players. He is Brookman's brother.
In addition to Smash he also has held impressive records for speed runs, most notably for Castlevania games on the Nintendo DS.
