Shopping for spirits is unlocked during the first World of Light campaign in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate after collecting the Master Spirit that manage each store.

As opposed to regular stores in other Smash Bros. games, these shops only accept Spirit Points (SP) to purchase. Snacks and Support Items are also available to buy.

A combination of 4 spirits and items are available per store at a time, buying one will cause that type to be Sold Out momentarily. The space will be filled after a period of time with a different option. Regularly, the shops will offer 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% or even 50% off on any item in display.
