Jackets are a group of follow-up techniques to the Yoyo Glitch. A jacket is simply when hitboxes from certain moves gets attached to Ness' body. There is also a similar technique using Sheik called a Chain Jacket in brawl.
Varieties
- Thunder Jacket
- Spike Jacket
- Star Jacket
- Toy Jacket
- Deadline Jacket
Techniques
Hanger
This technique allows you to change the jacket you are wearing without having to perform another Yoyo Glitch. It is done simply by using the move you would to normally equip the desired jacket but with the Yoyo Glitch setup left out. You must have a jacket on already to perform this technique.
Extended Jacket
This technique removes the jacket from Ness' body and put it onto the outreaching part his Yoyo (Up Smash or Down Smash) giving it more range. While hitting with an extended jacket using upsmash you can perform a new Yoyo Glitch at the same time allowing you to equip a new jacket or use another follow-up technique of the Yoyo Glitch.
